Susie felt like she had slept for a very long time.
I felt hungry even while still asleep, as if my body had been drained of strength and it was difficult to even move my fingers.
Her eyelashes trembled lightly, and she seemed tired when she tried to open her eyes...
I was so hungry...
I didn't have the strength to get out of bed because I was so hungry.
Why am I so hungry? In the underworld, I didn't feel hungry. Could it be that she has returned to the human world?
Sleeping Susie thought of this question and suddenly began to wake up. No, her last time was still playing King of Urban with her dad, Micky, and the ghosts.
She also imprisoned King of Urban in Yama Palace, making it impossible for him to be in the mortal world.
Could it be that all of this was just a dream?
With this thought in mind, Susie suddenly opened her eyes and saw a light purple canopy above her head. The delicate canopy was adorned with twinkling lights, resembling a starry sky.
There was something furry rubbing against her face...
Alex had been waiting bored for a long time. It had already been waiting for two days. Susie had been sleeping since she was brought back.
When it was about to go out and play with the turtle again, suddenly Susie opened her eyes with a swish, which startled it.
Alex happily jumped to Susie's side of the pillow and rubbed her with his little head, saying, "Darling, you're awake! You've been sleeping for a few days, while I've been waiting eagerly for this moment, for this instant."
Susie raised her hand and gently brushed Alex aside, saying, "Alex, stop messing around..."
With a lift of her hand, Susie felt a more pronounced sense of weakness throughout her body. Her stomach growled, making her feel so hungry that she was on the verge of tears.
"Did we come back?" Susie asked, bewildered.
Alex nodded and replied affirmatively, "Hmm, I'm back!"
Back to the emperor's lair, oh yeah~
Susie paused for a moment and said, "Have I never been outside?"
Alex nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes."
After Mr. Dubin brought her back, she slept all the time and indeed did not go out.
Susie heard these words and felt a deep sense of melancholy in her heart.
"I had a really long dream..." Susie lay in bed, staring blankly at the mosquito net, murmuring to herself.
She dreamt that she went to the underworld, went to find her mother with her father. She and her father also roasted a delicious fish by the icy pond.
Then, I found my mother by the Abyss Bridge. My mother was amazing, even after drinking so much Lethe witch soup, she still remembered me. I hugged her tightly in my arms.
Then they were chased by King of Urban, and she, along with her parents, Micky, and the ghosts, fought together to finally suppress King of Urban...
"Everything was just a dream," Susie sighed.
In the dream, she held her parents' hands and her father threw her up high. When she came down, they caught her together with her mother.
It was all fake... Susie felt disappointed.
Alex looked confused, tilting his head to the side and said, "Huh?"
Susie, feeling extremely tired, got up with a weary body and said, "It's nothing... um?"
Um, where am I?
Isn't this her room?
She looked around in astonishment and realized that this was indeed not her room. It was not the princess room in the Murray family estate, nor was it the room in the apartment building in Rainbow, and certainly not the palace-like mansion by the icy pond in her dream.
It was bigger here.
The light purple gauze danced with the gentle breeze as Susie lifted the curtain and stepped barefoot on the ground.
There was a mist lingering by the bed - no, Susie took a deep breath and immediately felt a sense of comfort throughout her body - this was not mist, but more like fairy aura.
I felt the ground beneath my feet was soft, so I lowered my head and took a glance. I couldn't tell what kind of fur or material the carpet was made of, but it was incredibly soft.
There are layers of gauze fluttering in the wind outside, and beyond the fourth layer is a lotus pond surrounded by it. You can hear the sound of flowing water, and a few goldfish are swimming leisurely. The tails behind them are like the princess's skirt, gorgeous and dreamy.
There was no one in the spacious bedroom. Susie looked around and was dumbfounded when she walked out of the palace.
The palace was built on a cliff... It's not strange to be on a cliff, but the key is...
The cliff was actually floating!
At first glance, there were mountains suspended in mid-air all around. From a distance, palaces, pavilions, and jade buildings could be seen. White clouds floated between the palaces and cliffs, and waterfalls cascaded down the cliffs. Unidentified flowers and trees covered the palaces and jade buildings, with petals fluttering in the air.
"Where is this?" Susie asked, bewildered.
Susie felt really confused, unable to distinguish between reality and illusion. How did she feel like she was in heaven?
Alex flew out happily and landed on Susie's shoulder, tilting his head to look at her.
"What happened to my treasure?"
Why was it so quiet after waking up?
Shh... And it remained quiet.
Susie subconsciously walked out of the palace. In front of the sleeping quarters, there was a bridge. After crossing the bridge, there was a larger jade tower on the other side.
Walking across the bridge, she always felt that everything in front of her seemed familiar, yet she was certain that she had never been here before.
She quietly walked into the temple in front of her, which was empty. On the contrary, there seemed to be a noisy sound outside.
Susie walked through this huge palace, filled with many books and treasures, such as censers, vases, jade bottles, and ruyi scepters... She couldn't help but want to secretly sneak one into Yama Palace.
At this moment, a voice suddenly came from outside, "Ah... Kellen, Kellen, you are my brother! How could you eat the bunny when it's so cute? Can't you just braise it?"
Susie was startled!
"Mom..." It was my mom's voice!
Susie was delighted and ran over barefoot in a hurry because she was too hungry and her body lacked energy, causing her to stumble and bump into things.
