Chapter 1146 The Family Secret: A Tale of Conflict and Discovery

Emily didn't believe it at all, Susie couldn't be that strong!

In her heart, Susie was just a little child who liked to brag, and she had seen many children like that.

Susie completely ignored her and said, "Let's go for a paternity test!"

Emily, who was looking coldly and arrogantly, suddenly felt a tightness in her heart!

"I..."

She wanted to say something, but she was silenced by a cold glance from Kellen and choked up.

Alana carried Jamie upstairs, preparing to do as usual and take Jamie to look in the mirror.

Ada teased him, saying, "How can you tell which one is the older sister's room when you're so young..."

Jamie's eyes began to distinguish colors and see things clearly. He enjoyed looking around with excitement and loved looking in the mirror. Every time, he would always smile and make funny faces at himself in the mirror.

Other mirrors were not good enough, only the mirror in my sister's room was liked.

When they reached the door of the room, Ada tactfully said, "Alana, I'll go get the milk bottle for the young master first."

As Alana was about to push the door, she saw Susie's door being pushed open and Susie and Kellen walked out from inside.

There was a cold-looking girl wearing a Hanfu following behind.

Alana was stunned!

Ada, who was just about to turn around and leave, also froze for a moment!

Kellen paused and said, "Mom, long time no see. I came back late last night and didn't want to wake you up."

He glanced outside without a word, oh, it's not morning, it should be afternoon.

He added, "Susie didn't sleep for the two days before coming back, and I overslept with her. What time is it now?"

Ada took a while to come to her senses and said, "It's almost four o'clock... You guys are such heavy sleepers, not a single sound."

She glanced at Emily with suspicion, wondering why her husband was accompanied by another woman. Could it be that he had found someone new... but she didn't feel it was appropriate to inquire about it.

Alana secretly rejoiced: How lucky! This morning, Jamie suddenly acted strangely and insisted on sticking to Hamza, causing a commotion until noon before finally taking a nap.

After taking a nap, I had to go to Susie's room.

Otherwise, in the morning she would have entered Susie's room and not found Kellen and Susie... She wouldn't have made up a story either.

Alana glanced at Jamie subconsciously and saw him looking innocent and naive, his eyes shining as he watched Susie. His little hands were waving vigorously, and he was babbling and calling out.

It seemed to be saying, "Sister, hug me!"

Susie immediately picked up Jamie and exclaimed happily, "Wow, it's been a few days and Jamie has gained weight!"

Jamie danced with joy.

Kellen was confused.

Clara was confused.

The ghosts were confused.

What... who are they, what did I miss, and how did the Murray family get a new baby!

Clara was taken aback, "Wow... I have another nephew?"

She looked at Alana again, her throat choked up, "Mom..."

I didn't expect that she could come back again. Mom's hair has turned so white...

Kellen didn't look back at Clara, but he raised his hand and pulled her over without saying a word, gently patting her shoulder.

While slightly lowering her head, she hooked her finger under Jamie's chin and chuckled softly, "Jamie?"

The baby suddenly cried out, flailed around, and spit landed on Kellen's hand instantly. Then, he giggled.

Susie laughed and said, "Dad, he likes you!"

Kellen looked at his hands full of saliva, his mouth twitched.

He smiled gently and squeezed the saliva in his hand onto Jamie's face.

His voice was deep and addictive, yet incredibly gentle as he said, "Hmm, even my uncle likes you!"

Jamie: "..."

Susie looked up and thought, "Huh, what's going on? How come it feels like they know each other?"

After Alana returned to normal, she started nagging again, "You slept all day, aren't you hungry?"

"What do you want to eat? Never mind, I'll just make something random..."

"If you're hungry, just have a little something to eat first... Ada... never mind, I'll go downstairs and bring some snacks up."

For Emily, Alana was as if she hadn't seen her.

Firstly, anything related to Susie, her identity might not be that of a normal person, it's not good to ask.

Secondly, she never even considered the possibility of anything between Kellen and the girl, let alone if they had spent the night together.

Susie quickly grabbed her and said, "Grandma, it's not necessary. I'm not hungry this time! Save it for dinner!"

Alana thought for a moment and nodded, "Okay."

She hurried downstairs, but only two more people came back (not counting the other one), yet the Murray family inexplicably became lively.

Emily watched the warmth between this family with her own eyes, feeling an indescribable envy in her heart.

I saw Kellen playing with a baby again. He was so gentle, tall in stature, with a cold and determined face. Sometimes, there was a hint of laziness and indifference in his eyes.

Emily had never seen him like this before. In her imagination, she had always portrayed him as a father figure, so her perception of him was more of being calm, kind, and stern.

The first time I saw him being so gentle, my heart suddenly jumped uncontrollably, and I became even more attached to this unfamiliar 'father'.

However, Kellen's words shattered her obsession, leaving her no chance for even a hint of nostalgia...
