Chapter 207 Horror Encounter: Zion and Susie's Ghostly Adventure

The door of the next room opened slowly, and Zion stared at the door, petrified.

Susie looked at him and suddenly found it very amusing.

When Wade saw a ghost, he instantly became frightened and ran away screaming with lightning-fast reflexes.

But when Zion saw a ghost, he was petrified like he had been acupunctured, standing frozen in place like a statue.

Susie covered her mouth and laughed. "Brother, if ghosts eat people, you'll definitely be the first one to be eaten."

Zion couldn't be bothered to deal with her!

Just then, Susie suddenly jumped to Zion's side...

"Roar!"

She bit his arm!

Zion was so frightened that his hair stood on end.

"What are you doing?!" His arm was covered in her saliva, and Zion was speechless.

Susie looked at the densely packed ghosts on the corridor, and her roar scared them all away.

She giggled. "Don't be afraid, Susie's saliva can ward off evil spirits!"

"Get lost!" Zion rolled his eyes.

Susie immediately said, "Okay! Miss, Susie is here!"

She grabbed her peach wood sword and happily ran inside.

Zion remained silent.

Did she really just run in like that?

Unreliable little sister!

Zion felt a bit suffocated and decided not to enter that room.

Absolutely not! Just as he thought that he heard a faint sigh in his ear, "You've come..."

Zion's pupils contracted and his reflexes kicked in. He bolted and shouted, "Susie...!!!".

In one swift move, he ran into the adjacent room.

It was a small apartment with two bedrooms and one living room. The grey cotton sofa in the living room faced the kitchen and bathroom, and there was no television.

The bedroom doors were next to the living room, one was tightly shut while the other was wide open.

The latter was decorated in red, with a red bedsheet, pillows, and a large mirror on the dressing table adorned with the character for "happiness".

Next to the mirror were two burnt-out candles, and a pair of red high heels were placed at the foot of the bed.

When the wind blew, it seemed as if there was a faint sigh in the air.

Zion's whole body was covered in goosebumps, and his scalp tingled. He dared not turn around.

"Susie... Where are you?" Zion called out softly.

He had just told her to go away, but now he wished he could cling onto her legs.

Suddenly, a small head popped up behind him, "I'm right here!"

Zion stiffened and angrily asked, "Why did you suddenly appear without making any sound?"

Susie looked like she had done something wrong and replied, "Last time I patted your shoulder, you were angry..."

She had scared him by suddenly calling out his name, so when she tried to pat him on the shoulder, he was even more startled.

Now, when she appeared quietly, he was still unhappy.

She really had it tough!

Zion asked, "Where did you go?"

Susie pointed to the kitchen, "I went to the kitchen and found two red eggs."

She opened her palms, and there were two red eggs nestled in them - a must-have at rural wedding banquets.

Zion immediately pushed her hands away and said, "Put them further away!"

Susie looked around and placed the eggs on the tea table.

Just then, a red figure floated past the door.

Zion was instantly stunned. "Susie, did you see that just now?"

Susie nodded. "I saw it, the lady in red wedding dress."

She cautiously looked around.

Aunt Ghost had said that there was a resident ghost in this room, but when she came in, there wasn't a single ghost, as if they had all gone out visiting.

The more Zion couldn't see, the more nervous he became. He said, "We need to leave now and come back tomorrow at noon..."

Before he finished speaking, they heard footsteps in the hallway coming towards them.

Susie grabbed Zion's hand and quickly ran into the room filled with red decorations.

Zion's every cell was protesting, "Let's go to another room..."

Susie whispered, "It's too late!"

Zion felt flustered and was pulled by Susie to hide under the bed. Susie then stuck a yellow talisman in front of them.

Under the bed... when Zion realized what was happening, he felt foolish! Why would he hide under a female ghost's bed?!

Zion was about to climb out when a pair of red shoes suddenly appeared in front of him.

The red shoes got closer and closer, and a hoarse, Donald Duck-like voice suddenly sounded, "Hey... where did you hide?"

Zion widened his eyes as he saw the mysterious shoes, tapping their toes as if searching for something.

When the shoes stopped in front of him, Zion saw strands of hair hanging down like someone was peering under the bed.

Zion froze, his breath stopping altogether. The more hair that fell, the closer the head was to the bed...

Zion stared at Susie for help, but she was busy counting money!

Yes, it's counting money, but it's paper money...

Zion was almost crying. It's already so late, why count money now? Burning a stack of paper money is good enough, what's the use of counting it!

The bed creaked and all the hair was piled on the ground, revealing the top of the "person's" head.

Zion's breathing stagnated. Why was the head hanging down like that?

According to normal circumstances, he should see half an ear or half a face first, how could it be the top of the head...

Zion was so scared that he shouted in his heart, "Susie, save me, save me!"

Susie seemed to hear his cry for help from his heart. She raised her head and said, "Don't worry, he can't see us."

Zion was so shocked that he wanted to cover Susie's mouth, but Susie said again, "Don't worry, he can't hear our voices either!"

Zion remained silent.

He didn't believe her at all!

Didn't he see that the "person" by the bed paused for a moment, and then continued to stick his head in?!

Just when Zion thought that the "person" was about to see them under the bed, he suddenly sat up and sat on the edge of the bed.

Zion had just breathed a sigh of relief, but then there was a hurried footsteps outside the door.

This time the "person" was wearing pink slippers. After entering the room, her voice sounded anxious, "I'm sorry, I was delayed on the road just now..."

The person sitting on the bed had a voice like grinding teeth, hoarse and unpleasant, and spoke in a creepy tone, "I asked you to buy something, why did you take so long?! You went out for half a night and didn't come back. Tell me, did you take my money and go somewhere to play?!"

The girl in the pink slippers was almost crying, "No, I didn't..."

In response, she received a hard slap.

The girl in pink slippers was hit and flew out, rolling to the edge of the bed right in front of Zion!

Zion exclaimed, "!!!".
