Chapter 446 Kellen's Wound Care and Surveillance Encounter

Kellen drove back to the city and stopped in front of a pharmacy, where he bought some gauze, hemostatic powder, and alcohol for disinfecting wounds.

During the short time he was away, his wound had soaked through the original gauze.

Kellen didn't want to worry Susie, so he planned to change his bandages in the car before heading back.

Just then, a voice rang out, "Excuse me, do you need help?"

Kellen looked up and saw a woman standing in front of him. He coldly replied, "No, thank you."

But the woman persisted, her face full of concern. "My name is June, I'm a doctor. I can see that your hand is badly injured. Did you cut it on broken glass?"

June's face was gentle, trying to appear professional.

Kellen responded icily, "Do you not understand human language?"

His face was cold, and his slightly curled black hair fell over his eyebrows, making his gaze look even more murderous and dangerous.

June's hands and feet turned cold instantly. She had no doubt that if she dared to say another word, the man in front of her would immediately kill her.

She took a step back and quickly ran away.

Kellen watched her retreating figure, hiding his calculations well. Was she deliberately coming after him?

It was interesting. Other than himself, no one else knew his whereabouts. Coming to this pharmacy to buy medicine was just incidental. If this woman was coming after him, how did she know he was here?

Kellen picked up the alcohol and poured it directly onto his wound.

It was indeed pierced by glass.

In the abandoned chemical factory earlier, he punched a piece of glass to fight off a ghost, and the broken glass pierced his flesh.

However, he had already removed the glass before leaving the factory.

Alcohol was better than iodine for disinfection, but it was more irritating, and most people couldn't stand the pain.

Kellen remained expressionless throughout the process.

After disinfecting the wound, he sprinkled on the powder and wrapped it tightly with gauze, his movements very rough, as if it was not his own hand.

Once he was done, his phone sent him the video surveillance footage of June being tracked.

June didn't leave, instead, she was hiding in a cafe across the street, secretly monitoring him.

Kellen hacked into the cafe's surveillance system and heard June talking on the phone with a low voice. "As you said, I did find the person closest to Susie... but I can't get close!"

"Now I have to start with Susie..."

Kellen's gaze turned cold. Was she not coming after him, but after Susie?

He could no longer hold back his power.

Half a minute later, Kellen found all of June's information and hacked into her phone to listen in.

However, strangely enough, June wasn't making any phone calls, she was only pretending to do so. But she was really talking to someone...

Kellen squinted his eyes, something was off. But just now he didn't feel any cold presence.

After some training, he had become very familiar with the aura of Yin ghosts and objects. Even if he couldn't see them, he wouldn't miss them.

Kellen decisively got out of the car, crossed the street, and went into the coffee shop.

He didn't like beating around the bush, letting the other side plot first, and then counterattacking... that didn't exist with him.

He went straight for it.

Kellen sat down in front of June.

As June turned her head to take a sip of coffee, she didn't see Kellen getting out of the car, and when she looked up, she almost jumped out of her skin seeing Kellen sitting in front of her.

Kellen tapped his finger on the table and coldly said, "Were you making a phone call?"

June quickly pretended to hang up the phone and said, "Oh... yeah, but it's nothing, just finished talking..."

She quickly calmed down, looked at Kellen's hand, and asked with concern, "What's wrong? Is the bandage not going well? Do you need my help?"

"When you get glass in a wound, you have to pick out all the glass shards, otherwise the wound can easily get infected and form an abscess when it gets serious..."

Kellen stared at her and said, "How did you know I was bandaging myself, and why are you sitting here staring at me?"

June faltered. In the face of Kellen's powerful aura, she couldn't maintain her composure, and her expression became a bit flustered.

Kellen asked again, "How do you know that I got glass in my hand? Did you have someone follow me?"

June's heart thumped, unable to withstand the invisible pressure.

She took a deep breath and shook her head helplessly, "Sir, you're too suspicious. I happen to be waiting for someone here, and I just happened to see you bandaging yourself from here..."

"As for the wound, I'm a doctor, so of course I can tell."

Kellen sneered, "I don't believe you." As he spoke, he looked around without changing his expression.

Holding his breath, he carefully felt for the familiar cold aura, but couldn't sense it. He had come too late, and the non-human thing had already escaped.

Kellen took out his phone again and hacked into June's phone to take a look. There was nothing particularly strange in her files or pictures.

He looked up and asked, "You came for my daughter Susie? What's your purpose?"

June was suddenly terrified, how did he know? She hadn't told anyone about what she had done today!

Kellen leaned in a little closer and twisted her wrist through her sleeve, "I'm an impatient person. Either explain it to me nicely, or I'll break your hand."

June felt like her hand was about to be broken and struggled to force a smile, "Sir, you've really misunderstood. I don't even know your daughter..."

Snap!

Kellen directly broke her left wrist.

June was about to scream in pain, but Kellen grabbed the tablecloth on the table and stuffed it into her mouth.

There were only two or three customers on the second floor, and June was sitting in a corner booth where no one noticed anything unusual for a moment.

June was sweating profusely and couldn't make a sound. Her broken left hand kept trembling.

In this rule of law society, how could there be such an outlaw? He just broke someone's wrist without any reason!

This is still a coffee shop, a public place!

This person is too terrifying, he's simply...a criminal!
