Chapter 90 The Murray Siblings' Amusement Park Adventure with a Ghostly Encounter

After sliding down the slide, the siblings went to play on the kiddie rollercoaster.

Susie Murray and Lulu were absolutely ecstatic, screaming ‘Woo hoo !’

Meanwhile, Hamza Murray remained stoic and expressionless. Is that all ?

Wade Murray asked, ‘Assuming the speed of the rollercoaster is..., and the centripetal force of the curve is..., what is the minimum centripetal force needed to experience something out of this world?’

Next up was the Turbo Drop, only three or four stories tall , and moving at a slow speed.

‘Wow ! ’ exclaimed Susie Murray.

‘That was fun!’said Lulu.

Hamza Murray remained unfazed, calmly watching as they ascended and then slowly descended back to the ground.

He had never played anything like this before, and although it seemed childish, but he felt okay…

Wade Murray asked, ‘Assuming the falling speed of the drop tower is xx and the heart rate of the person is xx, what is the minimum speed needed to see ghosts ?’

In the end, all the calculated results exceeded the speed of light, slamming into the ground at that speed. If that doesn't make you disappear, then what will?

**********************************************************************************************************

As they made their way through the amusement park, Susie Murray and Lulu tried every ride they could find, from the classic carousel to the high-flying swing. They each held a cup of juice in their hands, sipping away happily.

Wade Murray finished calculating the speed of all the projects on the field and concluded that trying to achieve ghostly speeds wouldn't work, and that the magnetic field theory seemed more promising.

Despite his stoic exterior, but Hamza Murray feel a sense of excitement brewing inside him. His eyes gleamed with anticipation, and his cheeks were flushed with excitement.

Susie Murray, always eager for his older brother's approval, turned to him and asked, ‘Big brother, did you have fun?’

‘It was...adequate," he replied.

Hearing this, Lulu blurt out, ‘ Hamza Murray, you really are stubborn as a mule , what a hard mouth! ’

Susie Murray chimed in, ‘Giggle, what a hard mouth!’

Encouraged by Susie Murray's laughter, Lulu continued, ‘It's like biting an iron nail with your teeth - just showing off how tough you are! Or like boiling a duck for 72 days, but all that's left is its tough mouth!’

Susie Murray followed suit, giggling along and adding, ‘Hahaha! Boiling a duck for 72 days, but all that's left is its tough mouth!’

Hamza Murray rolled his eyes at their silly banter. Did they even know what these expressions meant?

He tried to resist correcting them, but as a top-performing student in the humanities, he couldn't help himself. "Actually, it's boiling the duck for 72 hours until only the beak remains tough, not 72 days," he said, trying to suppress a sigh.

Susie Murray and Lulu quickly agreed, "Right, right!”

Hamza Murray shook his head, ‘…’  Did he just correct them only to make himself look like a stickler for details?

As the siblings were having a great time, a woman in red appeared out of nowhere, moving as if she were a ghost.

Wade Murray was pondering the relationship between magnetic fields and the supernatural when he suddenly looked up and saw the woman, who looked like a ghostly aunt in red, and was startled.

He took a closer look and realised she was just a person. He breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed.

The woman sat down in the chair next to him, looking exhausted and tired. She leaned back in the chair with a weary expression.

"Hey, it's you again, Auntie," exclaimed Susie Murray.

Lulu followed his gaze and asked, ‘Who?’

She didn't seem to remember the woman.

Hamza Murray squinted his eyes and said, ‘She's the parent of the naughty child who cut in line earlier.’

The woman in red turned her head weakly, saw Susie Murray and the others, and said, ‘Oh, it's you guys!’

Susie Murray stared at the evil spirit on her shoulder.

Wade Murray noticed that the woman's gaze was off and asked, ‘What's wrong?’ without thinking.

Susie Murray tightened her little hand and whispered in his ear, ‘Brother, there's a ghost sitting on her shoulder…’

Wade Murray was unable to respond to his younger brother's answer.

‘!!!’

Susie Murray looked at Wade Murray who had changed his position, and asked, ‘What's wrong, brother?’

Wade Murray replied, ‘It's nothing, the wind is too strong over there.’

The woman in red smiled and said, ‘Sorry about earlier…'

Susie Murray shook her head and asked, ‘It's okay. What's your name, auntie?’

‘ My name is Susan.’ , the woman in red leaned against the chair back, hunching over and looking rather unkempt said.

Lulu looked at her strangely and asked, ‘Auntie, why did you bring that naughty kid here to play?’

This auntie is quite easy-going, why did she bring a naughty kid here to play?

It seemed that Aunt Susan didn’t like the child or the old lady. Susan pursed her lips, her face full of resentment.

‘I didn't want to bring them, but they're my husband's relatives and insisted on coming to Happy Valley…’

‘I haven't even brought my own daughter to Happy Valley, but I brought him.’

Susie Murray asked in confusion, "Can't you refuse?" Susan replied, "We're all family, so it's kinda hard to say no."

Susie Murray shook his head, the adult world was really strange!

Not liking it and not refusing it…

Why force yourself when happiness is the most important thing, right?

Wade Murray , the most logical of the group, asked curiously, ‘ If they're your husband's relatives, why didn't he bring them himself ?’

Susan's voice was laced with anger, ‘ He said he was going fishing and didn't have time to come !’

The children were taken aback. Going fishing? Fishing wasn't work, was it?

‘If he's not too busy to work, why can't he make time to come?’ Lulu frowned.

‘Don't come if you don't want to !’  Lulu echoed her grandmother's wisdom, ‘ If she doesn't want to eat, don't force her. Don't spoil her." In the end, she learned to eat well anyway.

Susan let out a heavy sigh and shook her head in resignation.

‘I don't want to argue with him. It's just going to ruin my mood and make it impossible for me to focus on work.’

‘ I'm the only one earning money in our family, so if I can't work, we won't have any money to spend.’ she added, explaining her reasons for avoiding any further conflict.

The children were all perplexed. Did she really have to work? This seemed like a strange logic to them.

Susie Murray asked, "You not going to work today?”

Susan replied, ‘ I'm a novelist, so I have a flexible schedule. I can work in the evenings.’

Hamza Murray was left speechless.

He had assumed that this aunt was a housewife who relied on her husband's income and had to go out even if she didn't want to.

He didn't expect her to be the family's primary breadwinner.

Despite being the sole provider, she still seemed so frustrated.

He couldn't understand how she managed to cope with the pressure.

At that moment, the middle-aged woman with the naughty child arrived and saw Susie Murray and the others, immediately snorting.

‘ What rotten luck, running into you guys.’

She looked around and saw that all the chairs in the resting area were taken.

Wade Murray, who was originally sitting to Susie Murray's left, moved over so that Susie Murray and Susan were seated next to each other with a little space between them.

The woman then said, ‘Hey, move over a bit and give us some space!’

Susie Murray immediately refused, ‘ I'm sorry, but my older brother and sister are sitting on the other side, so I can't move.’

The woman gave him a death stare and said, ‘Come on, you kids have tiny butts, how much space do you need? Just squish a little!’

Lulu frowned, ‘No! We absolutely will not yield !’

Wade Murray crossed his arms and sneered, ‘Who do you think you are, the Empress Dowager? Just because you said so, we're supposed to give in?’

Susie Murray nodded heavily and agreed, ‘ Yeah, we're not going to let you sit. Even if I get up, there won't be enough space for you to sit !’

This bench was only meant for a certain number of people to sit on, and even if she moved a bit, there wouldn't be enough space.

The old woman was very angry and muttered, ‘Who the heck are these people? They're acting like a bunch of wild and unruly kids. I mean, seriously, where are their parents and what did they even teach them?’

Martin Murray, who had just returned with popcorn, heard these words and immediately darkened his face.

‘What's your problem with the way I spoil them?’

The aunt was a total bully who only picked on those weaker than her.

When she saw Martin Murray in his expensive suit, radiating an aura of luxury and his piercing gaze, she lost her words and stumbled over her sentences.

All she could do was grumble to Susan, ‘What kind of crappy place did you bring us to? This supposed 'best amusement park in Kyoto' doesn't even have enough seats!’

Susan let out a deep sigh and stood up, trying to ease the tension. ‘Auntie, please sit down with Tong Tong. Let's not argue anymore, okay?’
